Sturt Badminton Club coordinates badminton sessions at venues across Adelaide over several nights of the week.

Concordia COLLEGE

Fridays: Sturt Badminton Juniors’ Academy & Social Session
Our Juniors’ Academy for children aged 15 and under runs 6:30-8pm, focused on badminton foundations and improving skills to eventually join our Sturt Badminton Performance Academy. Coaches are current players who have come through the academy themselves. Please note that Sturt BC offers this type of training to people who wish to improve their skills with the intention of progressing to play competition for Sturt BC in SABA competitions.
A social session from 8-9:30pm follows for 15+ members. Non-members are welcome to come for a hit for the same cost as members before signing up.
Club racquets are available to borrow. Club organisers hold current WWCCs.

Thursdays: Sturt Badminton Social Session
A social session using plastic shuttles. Non-members are welcome to try out at the same cost as members. Regular attendance requires a current Sturt Full or Social Membership. Players can bring their own feather shuttles to use if desired.

Saturdays: Sturt Badminton Performance Academy
The Sturt BC Performance Academy aims to support our members to develop their game to the next level, with structured and themed programs each week to develop all aspects of their game. Training includes bodyweight conditioning, agility, and multi-feed drills, ending with games. The Performance Academy is aimed at members who want to progress through the SABA grade competitions.
If you’re not a member, no need to worry. Come give it a try and you can always register on the spot!
